Everything you need to know about booking goalies
- Create an account: Click "Register as Renter" on the homepage
- Complete your profile: Add your name and contact information
- Book a goalie: Click "Book Goalie" and fill in your game details
- Wait for a match: We'll notify qualified goalies in your area
Fill in game details: date, time, arena, game type (Ice/Ball Hockey, League/Pick-up, 5v5/3v3), and skill level
Pay securely via Stripe. Your payment is held in escrow until game completion
Qualified goalies in your area are automatically notified
The first goalie to accept your booking is automatically assigned
Your goalie shows up and plays. Use the private chat to coordinate details
After the game, confirm completion and the goalie gets paid
Pricing Structure:
- First hour: $60 CAD
- Each additional 0.5 hour: +$20 CAD

Yes! We use industry-leading security:
- Stripe Payment Processing: Bank-level encryption and PCI compliance
- Escrow System: Your payment is held securely until game completion
- No Charge Until Confirmed: Goalie only gets paid after you confirm the game was completed
We accept credit cards only (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
We do not accept cash or Interac e-Transfer payments. Here's why:
- Fully Automated Escrow System: Card payments allow us to hold your payment securely and automatically release it to the goalie only after game confirmation
- Built-in Fraud Protection: Credit card payments provide robust security for both you and the goalie, with easy refunds and dispute resolution
We provide a secure, private messaging system:
- Private Chat: Message your assigned goalie directly through the booking page
- Email Notifications: Receive instant email alerts for new messages
- No Phone/Email Sharing: Your personal contact info stays private
- Real-time Updates: Messages update automatically while chat is open
Confirmation Process:
- Email Request: You'll receive an email asking to confirm game completion
- One-Click Confirmation: Click the link in the email or confirm on the booking page
- Automatic Reminders: If you don't respond, we'll send 3 reminders (every 2 hours)
- Auto-Confirmation: After 3 reminders with no response, the game is automatically confirmed
- Payment Release: Once confirmed, the goalie receives their payment via Interac e-Transfer
Yes, you can cancel before the game starts:
- Cancellation Window: Must cancel before game start time
- Automatic Refund: Full refund processed immediately if you paid
- Goalie Notification: Assigned goalie is notified automatically
Dispute Resolution Process:
- Report Issue: Click "Report a Problem" when confirming game completion
- Describe Problem: Explain what went wrong (no-show, late arrival, equipment issues, etc.)
- Payment Hold: Your payment is held in escrow while we investigate
- Support Review: Our team reviews the case and contacts both parties
- Resolution: Based on the investigation, payment is either released to the goalie or refunded to you
Smart Matching System:
- Location-Based: We notify goalies in your area (within reasonable distance)
- Game Type Match: Goalies get jobs matching their preferences (Ice/Ball Hockey, League/Pick-up, 5v5/3v3)
- Email Alerts: Qualified goalies receive instant email notifications
- First Come, First Served: The first goalie to accept your booking is automatically assigned
- Fast Matching: Most bookings are filled within minutes of posting
